Conditions, not just headline rates.
We compare a limited selection of five US savings accounts and five US credit cards using official issuer pages and terms. We record the check date and show links so you can check them yourself. This is not a full-market search or a recommendation tailored to your finances.
Savings, one clear shortlist
Default order is confirmed standard APY, highest first. Unconfirmed rates appear last. You can sort by monthly maintenance fee or opening deposit instead. Promotional boosts are excluded. There are no paid placements, star ratings or hidden scores.
Credit cards, clear trade-offs
The credit-card shortlist includes different reward structures, not five universal winners. Default order is annual fee, lowest first, then name. You can choose alphabetical order or filter for cash back, travel points and confirmed zero fees. Unknown foreign transaction fees are excluded from the no-foreign-fee filter.
We show core rewards, caps, annual fees, confirmed purchase APR ranges and welcome-offer conditions. Cash back and travel points are not ranked as if they have the same value. Some issuer pricing did not load reliably; those figures stay unconfirmed with a visible explanation. A $0 annual fee does not mean every charge is zero. Variable APRs and offers can change or differ by channel.
What we check for savings
Standard APY, maintenance fees, opening deposit, access, relevant conditions and the bank holding deposits. Unconfirmed direct-deposit rules stay unconfirmed. The filter hides these accounts when you request no direct deposit.
Dates matter
Our check date differs from a bank’s rate effective date. Rates are snapshots, not a live feed. Updates are researched and reviewed before the comparison changes; no automatic daily refresh is promised.
Clear limits
We have not opened or personally tested these accounts or cards. Research and writing use AI assistance with separate model review; this is not human financial-specialist review. Savings calculations hold the displayed rate constant for one year and exclude fees and taxes. Confirm current terms, bonus eligibility and your offered APR with the issuer before applying. WalletNoodle does not take applications.
